Mid-week Events
Church is not just for Sundays. We want to be a growing community and often meet togther in smaller groups during the week.
Afternoon Fellowship
We are a small and very friendly group of men and women of mixed ages that meet for Prayer, Bible Study and Fellowship at Wood Lane Church Baptist Church.
We meet on Thursdays at 1.30pm. The afternoon provides the opportunity to chat with friends over a cup of tea and speakers from both inside and outside of the church are invited - addressing issues such as devotional teaching, testimonies, mission and sharing about their various ministries whether they be in the local community or beyond. We are always pleased to welcome new members and look forward to meeting you.
If you would like more information you can contact us and leave a message at the Church office on 020 8592 4908
Mid-Week Bible Study
At Wood Lane Baptist Church, we believe that mid-week Bible Study is an essential part of spiritual growth. When we gather together to study God's Word, we are able to:
- Learn more about God and His plan for our lives.
- Grow in our understanding of the Bible.
- Discuss our faith with other believers.
- Be encouraged and challenged in our walk with God.
- Build relationships with other Christians.
Bible study is a great way to connect with God and with other believers. It is a time to learn, grow, and be encouraged. If you are looking for a way to deepen your relationship with God and with His people, we encourage you to join us.
Here are just a few of the benefits of mid-week Bible study:
- You will learn more about God and His plan for your life. Our mid-week Bible studies are led by experienced teachers who will help you understand the Bible and apply it to your life.
- You will grow in your understanding of the Bible. When you study the Bible regularly, you will begin to see patterns and themes that will help you understand God's Word more deeply.
- You will discuss your faith with other believers. Bible study is a great place to ask questions, share your thoughts, and learn from others.
- You will be encouraged and challenged in your walk with God. Bible study is a time to be reminded of God's love and grace, and to be challenged to live a life that is pleasing to Him.
- You will build relationships with other Christians. Bible study is a great way to meet other believers and build lasting friendships.
If you are looking for a way to deepen your relationship with God and with His people, we encourage you to join us. We meet twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm for approximately 1 hour.
For more details please speak with Pastor Anthony, one of the Church Leadership Team or call the Church office on 020 8592 4908.

The Youth Club runs every Friday evening (term time) to all children in year 7 and above (11 - 18 years of age).
This is held in Faith Hall between 7.30pm - 9.30pm and members enjoy snooker, pool, table tennis, and many other activities and the most popular of all, the tuck shop.
